Hindmarsh Island Caravan Park is located on the northern side of Hindmarsh Island, on an area covering 22 acres of natural land. The island is renowned for its sheltered waters, both fresh on the northern shores and sea water on the southern side. The nearby Coorong is a haven for bird life and water activities all within 100kms of Adelaide.
The Fleurieu is known for its secluded beaches, un-spoilt wildlife and stunning Marine life. It is also one of Australia's best surfing spots.
We have the gorgeous river on one side and the stunning Ocean the other side. The Murray Mouth is a must see when you come to Hindmarsh Island, this is the mouth of Australia's largest river and it flows out into the Southern Ocean right before your eyes, impeded by a twisting, shifting mass of sand banks.
Fleurieu Peninsula is home to some of the best produce and vineyards in the country. If you know anything about wine then you would have heard of Wineries such as Ballast Stone, Currency Creek, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale. These wineries and more around our area have cellar door sales and wine tasting; this is a great way to spend the afternoon with family and friends in our beautiful area. We also have some of the most wonderful restaurants and cafes for you to dine in.
